Can you spare two minutes in the morning for a refresh?
Each morning, at the end of my routine, I update the website; posting the next poem in Volume XVIII, Internal Revolutions
and a feature poem from the series; ten volumes and excerpts from Veracious Verse that are not included in any other volume.
Over time, one can get to see my verse as well as its evolution.
Can you spare fifteen minutes to take a break from everything?
Poetry Palace TV is my Diary of a Poet series read in fifteen minute episodes on Nashua, New Hampshire's Public Access Television Station.
It is produced by Georgia Marquis, because I am not a resident. Art, the greatest studio man ever, has created a YouTube channel and posts episodes
after they air. Each season has fifty-two episodes and the second season has just started (although all episodes are recorded). I have been
told they are great to watch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. I would love to have you enjoy them!
Can you spare five dollars?
Each day I get up to my routine, that ends with quite a bit of journaling. When that is finished, I go to the desktop and update the website
as stated above. Because the volumes are different in length, their repetition is not uniform, but each one is highlighted every eleventh day,
so one can see, if they follow the course, how life appears to change the meanings of the verse. I learned of this when I had nothing to do
at one point in life and reread my collection, only to find that most of the things I had learned in the recent year were already written! So,
I am a student of my own works. LOL
You can simply check out the home page of the site each day to try this approach to my Diary of a Poet, but I must warn you that what has already
been added to Internal Revolutions will take approximately thirty-five years to post, so you may wish to read that at a quicker pace.
If you would like to support my efforts to retire from my driving career and spend the latter years writing, and help create a trust that allows
for the website to continue to operate beyond my lifespan, I would be happy to email the daily updates to you for a five dollar donation to that cause!
Can ya spare ten dollars?
For a ten dollar donation to my cause I will send you a bumper sticker.
Years ago this page was an insert in each poetry chapbook...
They are not presently available, as they are all posted on this sight for free!
...but, that is not written in cyber stone...
Other support options below...
I sold these for $1.95 when I started...in 1986...
they are carbon footprint minimal now...online
If you think it was worth it, I still certainly could use it!
Send $1.95 for reading the e-version.
Pay for reading ten e-volumes total, by the time the site is all up???
Plus growing; I am writing again!
Send $19.50.
Posting of such as the following is on a first come, first serve
basis, and as soon as can be done by a poet
gone mad with six long day weeks in a triaxle dump truck...
I will gladly create a patron page for those paying for reading one hundred e-volumes!
I actually already created it for me, myself, and I...
The idea is to honor my late wife by offering a space where people can leave a rememberance of their loved one. Especially if they liked poetry.
I do not think my wife ever read my collection, but she was often proud of the ones written to her; overly so about #1015, Merry Christmas, Lover
Girl, written on Christmas morning and made into a card before she got up on our first Christmas together. That can be found in Volume XIII, Back
from the Block...
Send $195.00.
I will post a picture of your loved one with a short quote and their dates
for those paying for reading one thousand e-volumes!
For those who want to step up to a higher tier of support. Post a picture of your loved one, their dates of entry and exit, with their favorite quote below it.
(A reasonable number of words, please!) I Should actually donate to my own cause and put the Queen's picture with accompanying quote...
Thank you for the idea!
Send $1,950.00.
I will put your name in big, bold print on that page for those paying for reading ten thousand e-volumes!
I will use 100 pixel text for your, or your loved one's name, if you want to go to an even high tier
of support!
Send $19,500.00.
I will include a short bio (200 words {+/-?}) for anyone who pays for reading one hundred thousand e-volumes!
For top tier contributors there is room to describe yourself, a loved one, or why you want to support Poetry Palace Gift Shop. To make it easier for
those (me, at the moment) managing the site, the bio cannot include links to website, etc... BUT you may include
your email (I guess even snail mail, if you so desire) so interested parties might contact you for such links. Should I find the support I hope to receive
there will most likely be many changes to the site. As I type this now, I am waiting for the call to get back into a Mack triaxle for another season of
long six day weeks, which can be exhausting (who am I kidding, complete exhaustion is usually reached by mid-July, and then one pushes forward in a sort
of fog!)!
Send $195,000.00.
I will name that page after the first person to pay for reading a million e-volumes!!!
I am not opposed to having more than one Patron page, if there are any two or more who wish to have contests to find the most supporters...
Knock yourselves out!
Send $1,950,000.00.
A re-release of Veracious Verse???
I have been told I could have a publishing company photocopy one of the last remaining copies of this book if there was interest. At the turn of
the millenia I believe it was priced at $15.99. Is that over a million with inflation? JK But I could look into it if there is interest...
It is six by nine inches, and eighty-six pages.
