Dear Reader

This poetry was started right about the time of the blizzard of '78 in small New England towns like Attleboro, MA, Dublin, NH, and Lamoine, ME. (Might have been something in the air) In 1986 the first 100 (+/-) copies of Volume I were sold while the poet pumped gas at a Sunoco station on South Willow Street, in Manchester, New Hampshire. More was written back in Maine through the remainder of the 80s and Volumes V through XII were organized in the early 90s, but never released. Eleven of those poems made it into Veracious Verse, a "best of series" picked by the poet, and published by LuckyPress.com. No copies were sold, and those volume numbers were retired because those poems and their numbers were used in print. Volumes XIII through XVI were written during that publishing process and in the aftermath of the great adrenaline rush. Not much has taken place in the way of publication since, except Collected Worx, 2014, which has all the volumes and those eleven poems and has just reach over 100 copies; copies are given out on cruises and haphazardly along the way...

Volume XVII was added recently (6APR21), and Volume XVIII continues to grow (the original four hundred numbers was obviously not enough)... Some more poetry was added to the current notebooks this past winter (20/21), but most of my writing is to my Queen and about my spiritual journey, so I cannot say when another Volume might be coming.

sincerely,

tom
